d. 17 April, 1912. - Mrs. Henrietta (Farr) Robbins of this village passed out of this life and into the great beyond at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. N. Kingsbury, in East Northfield, Mass., where they moved about four weeks ago. Mrs. Robbins was stricken with paralysis and gradually failed until the end came. The body was brought here Thursday and the funeral was held Friday at 2 o'clock in the church of which she had been a member of many years. The Rev. W. J. Vile spoke words of comfort to the mourning friends from John 9:11. The choir sang: "Thy will be done" and "Asleep in Jesus." A. J. Baker and wife rendered very beautifully the song, "Oh! Sing To Me Of Heaven." The bearers were W. A. Puffer, W. O. Jenison and F. H. Robbins, and the burial was in the family lot beside her husband and daughter. Those from out of town: E. N. Kingsbury, wife and daughter Louise of E. Northfield, Mass; Elwin Chase, wife and daughter Grace of Townshend, and Merl Willis of Jamaica. Mrs. Robbins was born in South Windham, 20 April, 1827, the daughter of Ira and Flora (Stowell) Farr, and the last of a family of five children. She was a successful school teacher in her younger days. She married David E. Robbins and went to live in the house which had been her home until four weeks ago when she went to Northfield to live. There were three children born of this union; Mary, who died with diphtheria in 1863, Addie, wife of I. E. Chase of Townshend, and Nettie, wife of E. N. Kingsbury. Mr. Robbins died very suddenly while plowing in the field 25 April, 1895.
