I have been in the process of finding and verifying all of the male Farr descendants, and their children, of Stephen Farr of Concord, MA for a book on his descendants. I have completed the Farr descendants of all of the sons of Stephen Farr. It is by no means complete or perfect but is the best I could do with what I have. We recently had a Y-DNA participant that matched the Stephen Farr Sr. line and goes back to Jacob Farr Jr. and Sr. of Chesterfield, New Hampshire. This means that Jacob Farr Sr. is probably an unrecorded son of one of Stephen Farr's sons. Jacob Farr has a descendant named Alpheus Farr who married Sybil Farr a sister to Winslow Farr Sr. and daughter of Asahel Farr. Because of the new Y-DNA match, we now know that Sybil and Alpheus are related and probably 3rd or 4th cousins. Another Y-DNA participant matched Stephen Farr Sr. and has his line back to Rinaldo Farr of New York. I was able to connect Rinaldo to Rufus King Farr and his wife Polly Sawtelle. My original book, Stephen Farr of Concord, Massachusetts b. 1640 : his family, descendants and probable English origins (a DNA study), is now available again in print and is available online at the link below in the table of contents. It will be a while before I make a new edition that includes all of the downlines of Stephen Farr that I have verified. The hardest part of doing the descendants is finding the living or those who have just recently passed away. Without your help, many of the lines to the present will be incomplete. I have completed verifying the Farr descendants of Winslow Farr Sr. If you are a descendant of Stephen Farr The Immigrant, please check my work on this website and email me any corrections, additions, photos and short histories if available.
