Supposed Suicide of a Michigander, A  yonng man named George M. Farr left YpsiIanti, Michigan, on the 5th of April last for California via New York, and arrived In Sacramento on the 3d instant. After stopping there a few days, he proceeded to the ranch of his father, Daniel F. Farr, near the Pino Station, on the Pacific road. On Sunday, the 10th ult, he left the ranch and went to Sacramento, from which place he wrote a letter to his father stating that he had made up his mind to drown himself, as he had disgraced his father, mother and friends, and bade all Inquiring friends adieu forever.

He was observed to be walking up and down the banks of the river near the Sacramento steam mills when last' seen. Search, was made In the vicinity yesterday, and there were found pieces of torn envelopes, a part of a circular, on which, in his own handwriting. was a portion of his signature (M. Farr), and an empty whisky bottle.
