RODNA V. FARR, BRISTOL, VT — Rodna V. Farr, 91, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at Birchwood Terrace Healthcare in Burlington. She was born on July 3, 1908, in Chesterfield, Ill., the daughter of William and Ada (Sarginson) Fenton. Rodna married Rolan S. Farr in Decatur, Ill., on Oct. 28, 1945. They farmed in South Bristol for 25 years beginning in 1950 and during that time they established and ran Elephant Mountain Campground until May of 1999. Rolan predeceased Rodna on Oct. 16, 1999. She is survived by a niece, Marilyn Culbreth of Florida; and a nephew, William Fenton of Illinois. Rodna was predeceased by a brother, William, in 1967. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. Interment will be in Maple Cemetery in Lincoln. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday before the service.
